Authorities Looking For NW Georgia Man
State officials are looking for a Northwest Georgia man accused of making up a story about slipping and falling at a Kroger store in Dalton.
Georgia Insurance Commissioner John King stated that, “Ronald Langley Jr., age 55, of Dalton, has been charged with insurance fraud and obstruction after staging a slip and fall accident. In May of 2022, Langley alleged to Kroger employees that he had slipped on a product spill while shopping.
The suspect then reported the alleged incident to his insurance company and Sedgwick Claims Management Services with the intent to seek damages through a Personal Injury lawsuit.
Unfortunately for Langley, he was caught intentionally lowering himself into the spill by the store’s surveillance system.”
Officials say Langley gave false information to the investigators about his address and now they are looking for Langley.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts should contact their local law enforcement agency.
