This Week’s Spotlight is on Deputy Seth Rochester

This week’s Spotlight is on Deputy Seth Rochester

“I began my law enforcement career riding reserve with the Leesburg Police Dept in 2002 then joined the reserve program with the Etowah County Sheriff Office. Sheriff James Hayes sent me to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s academy.

In March 2005 I was hired as a patrol deputy with the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office. I worked in this capacity for 4 years and then was promoted to Criminal Investigations and worked as an Investigator for the next 3 years.

After this I left law enforcement in a full-time capacity to join my family on the family farm.

Since this time, I have spent my time as a farmer and part time patrol deputy. I have worked as a sworn officer for the last 18 years. I hope that I have helped people and made some kind of difference in the last 18 years.”

Help us celebrate Deputy Rochester and also show appreciation for all that he does.
