One person – listed as a 52 year old female – was fatally injured on Friday morning in an automobile accident in DeKalb County.
According to the Alabama State Troopers just before 4:30am – a 2017 Peterbilt truck being driven by a male out of Chattanooga, Tennessee and a 2016 Buick being driven by a female from Ider in Alabama became involved in an accident that claimed the life of the woman and sent the male driver to the hospital.
That accident remains under the investigation of Alabama State Troopers.
