Pizza Delivery Driver Arrested
A second pizza delivery driver in Rome, Georgia has been arrested for allegedly stealing from a pizza restaurant.
According to arrest warrants, Eric Bernard Hightower allegedly used a Marco’s Pizza app to sign customers’ names to falsely authorize tips electronically. The transactions allegedly made by the 21 year old cost the business an estimated $253.72 between April 8th and May 4th of this year (2023)
Hightower is charged with theft by deception and 2nd-degree forgery.
Late last month, 43-year-old Toddrick Rayon Burdette was arrested for similar transactions made while a delivery driver – which cost Marco’s $381.36 between February 1st and May 3rd of this year.
