Two Rome men were arrested Friday on charges of aggravated assault, criminal damage to property, and unlawful possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime after gunshots were fired in the area of Park Homes on Reservoir Street.
According to the jail records, 21-year-old Alonzo Tyrone Law Jr. fired a 9mm at several vehicles, causing damage. Meanwhile, 20-year-old Joshua Jadell Leach II fired a pistol at a vehicle and at another person.
Leach was also found with more than an ounce of marijuana, a digital scale, and ‘magic mushrooms.” He was also charged with felony possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of drug-related objects, and possession of psilocybin.
