State Troopers and other emergency agencies responded to one accident on Sunday in Etowah County.

According to accident reports – the wreck took place at 8:30pm, and involved a 1996 Nissan driven by a male from Gadsden, and he did receive injuries in the single-vehicle mishap.

That accident occurred along a section of U.S. 431.

The matter remains under investigation by State Troopers.
