The Class 2A, Area 11 softball coaches recently selected their all-area team. Sand Rock senior pitcher Jadyn Foster was chosen as the Most Valuable Player.

Foster went 31-5 in the circle with a save, 349 strikeouts and a 1.10 ERA for the Lady Wildcats (41-10) last season. She also batted .463 with 17 home runs, 13 doubles, six triples, 21 walks, 21 stolen bases, 74 runs and 71 RBIs.

Joining Foster from Sand Rock is Katelyn StClair, EllaGrace Hood, Sherina Foster, Emma Sipsy and Bailey Kilgore.

Collinsville had four selections in Ella Coker, Sophia Wills, Rylee Tillery and Tyla Tatum. Fyffe also had four representatives in Elli Stone, Madelyn Hawkins, Livia Cowart and Kendra Fay. Makenzie McCarver and Emma Samples were chosen from Gaston.
