Audrey Smith Grimes, age 91, of Centre passed away Thursday, June 1st at her residence.
Funeral services will be 4 PM Saturday, June 3rd at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Hosey officiating, and burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will include Randy Baker, Joe Nowak, Will Flynt, Steven Holden, Derrick Kiser, and Brent Kiser.
Survivors include son, Chuck Grimes (Rhonda); daughters, Susan Grimes, Beth Grimes Frazer; grandchildren, Emily Frazer, Trey Frazer, Amanda Holden (Steven), Halie Grimes, Matthew Grimes; great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Frazer; very special friend, Patsy Baker; and special caregiver, Bree Moten.
She is preceded in death by her husband, J.R. Grimes.
Mrs. Grimes was a native of Cherokee County and was the daughter of the late Willie and Vadia Smith.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Moshat Baptist Church Building Fund.
