Deborah Diane Dowdy Coker, age 72 of Leesburg passed away Friday, May 26th at her residence.
Funeral services will be 3 PM Thursday, June 1st at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Barber officiating, burial will follow in Shiloh Bothwell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until 3 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Ron Kent, Zackary Shedd, J.L. Armstrong, Adam Higgins and Christopher Braley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Byron Nelson and his medical staff, Pro-Health Home Health and Hospice Employees.
Survivors include, husband, Jimmy Coker; brother, Jerry (Iralene) Dowdy; sister, Anna Kent; brother-in-law, Ron Kent; grandchildren, Savannah Kent, Breannah Kent and Juliannah Kent; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Bill Dowdy and Rodney Dowdy.
Mrs. Coker was a native of Etowah County and the daughter of the late Wilbur and Mary Imogene Dowdy and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shiloh Bothwell Cemetery Fund.
