Mrs. Geraldine Steele Jordan, age 89 of Centre passed away Friday, May 26th at her residence.
Graveside services will be 2 PM Sunday, May 28th at Cherokee Memory Gardens with Dr. George Cobb D.D., Bro. Melvyn Salter and Rev. John Redding officiating.
Pallbearers will include family and friends.
Survivors include daughter, Freida (Nick) McMichen; grandchildren, Mindy (Tyler) Bruce, Matt McMichen; great-grandchild, Sullivyn Jordan Bruce; sister-in-law, Sue Steele; several nieces and nephews; special friends and caregivers, Theresa Miller, Bonnie Hooper, Sharon Fortenberry and Jacque Walters.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George Harold Jordan.
Ms. Jordan was a native of Cherokee County, was the daughter of the late Hugh and Gladys Steele and was a longtime member of Unity Hill Baptist Church.
