It was reported on Thursday that more doctors are leaving Harbin Clinic and going to AdventHealth in what has been described as a “growing rift”, due to the merger of the Harbin Clinic with AtriumHealth Floyd.

AdventHealth Redmond has announced that they will be opening the Advent Medical Group Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology in July of this year – but the location of the new practice has not been released publicly. 

Doctors Chris Merritt and Himanshu Patel are the latest to announce they are leaving Harbin Clinic for Redmond.  It was said, that a vote was taken among Harbin Doctors, on Wednesday of this week to discuss “non-competition agreements” – and that vote “did not go well”.

The deadline for Harbin doctors to sign with AtriumHealth Floyd has reportedly now been extended to Monday (May 22nd).
