A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash early on Sunday morning, officials with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said.
Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 100 block of Hurd Shoals Road to investigate the crash just prior to 5:00 Sunday morning. Deputies said the victim was an adult male, but little else was released as of Sunday afternoon.
The Sheriff’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating the cause, and the circumstances, surrounding the crash according to that release.
