Gone Fishing at The Park will be held on Saturday, May 13th from 8:00 am to 11:00 am at the Veterans Memorial Park.
The City asks that you not try to start earlier so that everyone can have the same opportunity to catch some fish. Cody Carroll has offered to take any fish caught and will place them in his lake behind Carroll Body Shop, this idea is great as it allows the fish to continue to live.
Please bring your own fishing poles and bait. There will be plenty of room around the entire pond for all to fish. See you on the 13th beginning at 8 am. Everyone is welcome to fish, especially the children. Looking forward to a fun morning.
This is a one day only invite to thin out the population of carp in the pond. All fish caught must be taken home.
