A single vehicle mishap Friday afternoon injured the driver of a vehicle that went out of control, ran off the road and struck a tree.
The incident occurred in the 8900 Block of Alabama Highway 273 north of Leesburg. There was no one else in the vehicle.
The Tucker’s Chapel VFD and Floyd EMS responded with the Alabama State Troopers.
The accident was called in to the 9-1-1 Center at 4:55pm.
