GBI: Former DFCS Worker Arrested For Child Molestation

A forty-year-old former Division of Family and Children Services employee man has been arrested on child abuse and child molestation charges by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

According to GBI reports:

Roy Payne of Calhoun is charged with three counts of felony child abuse, three counts of felony child molestation and one count of felony sodomy.

The GBI accepted the investigation at the request of the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office on April 14. Payne was a former DFCS employee and allegations were made that he had abused children in his custody.
