Two Northwest Georgia Men Charged with Drug Possession

On Thursday of last week, a business owner called Summerville Police after a woman walked in and appeared to be under the influence of drugs.

Police responded to the Favor Street business and spoke with the owner who stated that the woman appeared to be “geeking-out” on drugs and had left the area on foot.

Afterwards officers went to a nearby Favor Street residence where they believe there is a lot of drug activity.  Police spoke with two men at the residence, one of whom was passed out in the house when police first arrived – and they found prescription drugs inside the house as well as methamphetamine.  Both men denied that the drugs were theirs.

Police arrested both Jamison “Jamie” Armstrong – and Rafael “Ralphie” Shropshire –  charging them with drug possession.

Both were then booked in at the Chattooga County Jail.
