Cherokee County Commission Meeting / Thereasa Hulgan Honored

A short agenda for the Commission Monday with action taken to appoint Steve Tucker to the Cherokee County Parks and Recreation Board to fill an unexpired 6 year term ending in January 2027.

Jana Chesnut was appointed to the Cherokee County Library Board to fill an unexpired four year term ending in February 2024.

A resolution was adopted honoring Thereasa Hulgan for her 20 years of dedicated service to the residents of the County in her role as Director of the Chamber of Commerce

An agreement was approved between the County Commission and the Cherokee County Sheriff’s office on the distribution of fees for housing federal inmates.

The next County Commission Meeting is scheduled for May 8th at 10 am and is open to the Public.
