ALBERTVILLE – The Cherokee County Lady Warriors earned an 8-4 softball win over Pelham on Saturday in the Albertville Tournament.

Emma Hill led the Lady Warriors by going 4-for-4 at the plate with a double, two runs and a RBI. She also picked up the win in the circle after tossing four innings, giving up an earned run on three hits with a walk and 10 strikeouts.

Audrey Haygood had three hits and a RBI. Raechel Russell added a pair of hits, including a triple. She also scored a run. Macy Lea also contributed two hits with a run and a RBI.

Grayson Tucker and Anna Walker both doubled. Tucker also tallied two runs and a RBI. Walker scored a run and had two RBIs.

Lanie Williams had a hit and a walk. Samantha Stubbs walked and KarLee Jolly scored a run.
