The latest “Spotlight” is on Chief Investigator Tony Monroy

Chief Investigator Tony Monroy answered four questions about his law enforcement career. Take a look at his responses and let’s show him the proper appreciation for his passion for  law enforcement and his dedication to helping serve and protect Cherokee County.

1)Why did you choose LE as your career choice?

I have wanted to be a Criminal Investigator since I was a child.

2.) What is your favorite part about your job?

Speaking and dealing with people to try and help them find a resolution or justice to any issue they may have.

3.) What is your favorite piece of advice you’ve been given in life?

Always go the extra mile. It is the least congested.

4.) What advice would you give to the citizens of Cherokee County?

Lock your car doors. Document anything in your house that has a serial number and store that document in a safe place, and if you see something that you think is out of place in your neighborhood, report it!
