The final Alabama Sports Writers Association high school softball and baseball rankings were released early Thursday morning, and there were no changes for area teams.

In softball, Class 2A Sand Rock (30-6) maintained its No. 3 ranking. Class 1As Cedar Bluff (13-14) and Spring Garden (12-10) hold steady at No. 4 and No. 10 respectively. Class 3A Piedmont (27-10) is still ranked at No. 4.

Class 4A Cherokee County (18-9) continued to receive a nomination.

In baseball, Piedmont (20-6) comes in at No. 3, while Class 2A Collinsville (18-8) and Spring Garden (11-9) continued to receive nominations.
