A public meeting will be held here in Cherokee County Thursday, for any and all area residents interested in bringing high-speed internet to our communities.
That meeting is being hosted by ADECA, through the Alabama Community Broadband Technical Assistance Program, at the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce, at 801 Cedar Bluff Road in Centre on the Gadsden State Cherokee Campus.
The meeting begins at 2:00pm and is expected to last until around 5:00. The meeting is also for elected officials, ISPs, broadband partners and all interested parties. ADECA says it takes a village to bring high-speed internet access to our communities and everyone is invited to join this public meeting.
