An Etowah County couple has been arrested, and have been charged with Aggravated Child Abuse, after a 2-year-old child in their care, was reportedly injured to the point of hospitalization. Sheriff Jonathon Horton said that both Jasper Williams and Tiffany Williams turned themselves in to the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office on April 7th.
They were released from the Etowah County Jail after posting $100,000 bond.
The Williams’ arrests stemmed from the case involving a 2 year-old in their care who needed to be hospitalized. The Sheriff’s Office didn’t say how that child was injured – citing the on-going investigation.
