Memorial service for Ashley Renee Woody, 36, of Spring Garden will be Monday, April 10, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church with Dr. Tony McCain officiating.

Ashley passed away Saturday, April 08, 2023.

The family will receive friends at the church Monday from 4 – 6 p.m.

She is survived by her parents, Wanda and David Woody of Spring Garden; her fiancee’, Keith Kerr of Piedmont; her grandparents, Wayne and Juanita Peek of Spring Garden; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ashley was a lifelong resident of the Spring Garden community and was a 2006 graduate of Spring Garden High School. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Jacksonville State University, an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Gadsden State Community College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Georgia Highlands College. She was employed at Advent Health Redmond Hospital in Rome, Georgia and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She enjoyed her animals, hunting, crocheting and loved to read and write short stories.

Ashley was preceded in death by grandparents, Betty Pope Woody and James Wheeler Woody; and aunt, Deborah Couch.
