Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Eubanks, age 93 of Leesburg passed away Monday, April 3rd at Cherokee County Health & Rehab.
Graveside services will be 2 PM Wednesday, April 5th at Smith Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Melvyn Salter officiating.
Pallbearers include Harold Watson, Jason Eubanks, Clinton Eubanks, Troy Jolly, Terry Stowe and Don Rochester. Honorary Pallbearers include Brent Naugher, Jeff Naugher and Marlon Nance.
Survivors include son, George Allen Eubanks (Margaret); daughter-in-law, Debbee Eubanks; sister, Cora Dean Stown (James); sister-in-law, Francis Naugher; brother-in-law, John Adams; 3 grandchildren, Jason Eubanks, Clinton Eubanks, Shala Jolly (Troy); and 4 great-grandchildren, Emily Jolly, Brooke Jolly, Luke Eubanks, Elizabeth Eubanks; station one staff of CCHRC.
She is preceded in death by her husband, GW Eubanks; son, Larry Eubanks; brothers, MS Naugher (Haney), Hardy Naugher, Milton Naugher (Ellen); sisters, Sally Cochran (Joel), Rebecca Adams, Anne Maxey (Coy) and Frances Stowe (Elmo).
Ms. Eubanks was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Horace and Ruth Naugher and she was of the Baptist faith.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
