Spirits were high Monday afternoon as Gadsden State cut the ribbon on Phase 2 of the new Gadsden Sports Park located on College rd behind the Wallace Drive campus. This phase of the project includes the impressive central complex building surrounded by 4 gorgeous baseball diamonds. Facilities include state of the art hydration stations, covered and open dugouts, batting cages, pitchers alleys, ample bleacher space, and of course a full concessions stand for all your mid game cravings.

The central location is protected by a robust safety net system for the safety of all visitors, and patrons will find the entire complex is laid out with a thought to visitor experience. The complex all centers around the central complex building which houses the concessions stand, press box, restrooms, and equipment/facilities space.

These new and updated facilities have elevated the quality and capacity of sports in Gadsden, Phase 3 of the project can’t come soon enough!
