Mr. Harmon Travis Gowens age 76 of Sand Rock passed away Friday March 24th at his residence.
Funeral services will be 4 PM Monday March 27th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chad Brown officiating, burial will follow in Yellow Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 PM Monday at the funeral home.
Survivors include wife, Helen Gowens; son, Michael (Sheila) Gowens; daughters, Wendy Gowens and Traci Gowens; brother, Edward (Helen) Gowens; sister, Joan Hill; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family will accept flowers or donation may be made Yellow Creek Baptist Church.
Pallbearers include Michael Gowens, Trey Gowens, Caiden Gowens, Dylan Gowens, Bart Gowens and Jason Lee.
Mr. Gowens was a native of Piedmont and the son of the late Junior Esco and Pluma Gowens and a member of Yellow Creek Baptist Church.
