CHATTANOOGA – The Piedmont Lady Bulldogs split two games in the Hixson High School tourney in Chattanooga, beating Ooltewah 13-0 and falling to Girls Prep School 8-6.

Against Ooltewah, Emma Grace Todd struck out eight of the nine batters she faced while pitching a perfect three innings.

Jenna Calvert and Ava Pope drove in three runs apiece. Pope hit a double.

Savannah Smith had a triple, two runs and an RBI. Jaycee Glover hit a double with a run and RBI.

Morgan Studdard drove in two runs. Cacey and Cayla Brothers had an RBI apiece.

Against GPS, Smith hit a solo home run. Sarah Goss and Cacey Brothers had two RBIs apiece, and Cayla Brothers had a single and RBI.
