UPDATE

First responders – including several Fire Departments (Centre, Cedar Bluff, Spring Creek, etc.), Law Enforcement, and Ambulance units from Atrium Medical Center – all converged on a home located on Mary Street in Centre early Tuesday afternoon.

Centre Fire Chief Jeremy Lee informed WEIS Radio News, that the fire was actually inside a storage building behind the residence – and firefighters on the scene quickly brought that blaze under control. They managed to stop the fire from spreading to the home itself, and the fire only damaged items in the storage building itself.

Chief Lee pointed out that no one was hurt during the incident and everyone worked in the fastest, safest way possible to bring everything under control rapidly.
