Two DeKalb County Residents Arrested on Drug Related Charges in Cherokee County

Two residents of DeKalb County (Alabama) were arrested on drug-related charges in Cherokee County during the early morning hours of Saturday.

The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office placed Haley McCue, age 38 of Rainsville, under arrest for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  She was booked into jail shortly after 12:30am.  Meanwhile, 24 year old Levi Wigley of Fort Payne was arrested on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia by Officers of the Leesburg Police Department; Wigley was charged with Promoting Prison Contraband 1st Degree as well.  He was jailed just after midnight.

Both subjects currently remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
