CENTRE – Nolan Neyman delivered what turned out to be the game-winning single that scored a run in the bottom of the fourth inning of the Centre Middle School Warriors’ 5-4 victory over Spring Garden in the championship game of the Cherokee County Junior High Baseball Tournament on Friday night.
Owen Jacoway led the Warriors at the plate by going 2-for-2. Cayce Tittle worked three innings on the mound and allowed four runs on four hits with two strikeouts.
