Warriors run-rule Pleasant Valley in Tuesday baseball action

CENTRE – The Cherokee County Warriors erupted for eight runs in the second inning, helping them take an 18-8 baseball win over visiting Pleasant Valley in five innings on Tuesday.

Carson Tittle led the Warriors at the plate by going 4-for-5 with a double, two runs and two RBIs. Beck McKinney was 3-for-4 with two runs and five RBIs. Parker Wilson went 2-for-3 with a triple, two walks, two runs and two RBIs. Connor Wilson homered with three walks, two runs and three RBIs.

Cooper Rodgers was 1-for-2 with a walk and four runs. Luke Young went 1-for-3 with three runs and two RBIs. Corbin Battles was 1-for-4 with two runs and a RBI. Malachi Horton walked and scored a run. Jackson Aultman drew a walk.

Daegan Scott tossed three innings and gave up eight earned runs on eight hits with five walks and five strikeouts. Caleb Edmondson pitched two innings of one-hit ball with two walks and a strikeout.
