The Class 2A, Area 12 girls basketball coaches recently selected their all-area team. Sand Rock junior guard Katelyn StClair was chosen as the Most Valuable Player.
StClair averaged 20.7 points, 5.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.9 steals in leading the Lady Wildcats to an area title, both in the regular season and the area tournament.
Joining StClair from Sand Rock is Zoey Handy and Jacey Stephens. Collinsville had a pair of selections in Tyla Tatum and Rylee Tillery. Representing Fyffe is Emma Twilley, Kendra Fay and Emily Stephens. Tracionna Jones was chosen from Gaston.
