Sand Rock senior point guard Jacob StClair was recently selected by the Class 2A, Area 12 boys basketball coaches as their All-Area Most Valuable Player.
StClair averaged 27 points, 6.3 assists and 5.4 rebounds for the state semifinalist Wildcats (22-11) this season. He was also a 90-percent free-throw and 49-percent 3-point shooter.
Joining StClair from Sand Rock is senior guards Kaden Justice and Ben Dale and senior forward Bradley Jackson.
Collinsville has a pair of representatives in Colton Wills and Gavin Lang. Eli Butts, Cooper Cox and Eli Carter were chosen from Fyffe. Micah Merriman and Brock Bagley represent Gaston.
