ASHVILLE – The Cherokee County Lady Warriors scored three runs in the first and six more in the third and fourth innings to pound Ashville 16-1 in five innings Tuesday in softball action.

Grayson Tucker had a pair of hits, including a homer, with a walk, two runs and three RBIs for the Lady Warriors. She also picked up the win in the circle after tossing three innings of one-hit ball with three strikeouts. Abby Lea also threw two innings of one hit ball with four strikeouts.

Abby Lea also added a pair of hits, including a double, with a walk, three runs and three RBIs. Emma Hill had two hits, including a double, with a run and two RBIs. Lanie Williams contributed two hits, including a double, with a walk and two runs. Raechel Russell managed two hits and scored two runs.

Bristol Bass doubled, scored a run and drove in two. Samantha Stubbs doubled, scored twice and drove in a run. Auburn Mullins doubled, walked and scored two runs. Audrey Haygood had a hit, a run and a RBI. Macy Lea and Anna Walker both finished with a hit.
