Gadsden State to host Graduation Fair 2023
Gadsden, Ala.–Gadsden State Community College is hosting a student success workshop to provide an opportunity for freshmen and sophomores to explore graduation from Gadsden State.
Graduation Fair 2023 will be from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 21 at the Ayers Campus Cheaha Center and in the lobby of Allen Hall on the Wallace Drive Campus March 22.
“At Gadsden State we are making every effort to encourage our students to finish what they have started,” said Dr. Dana Davis, director of Advising at Gadsden State. “These events will bring together, in one location, multiple college resources related to retention and graduation. We want to afford them every opportunity to be successful upon graduation, completion of a certificate program, transferring to a four-year university or entering the workforce.”
At the fairs, students will be able to review their progress with an Advising and Retention Center advisor, apply to graduate (if requirements have been met), receive assistance with beginning a job search and learn about the Alumni Association. Graduating students may also shop for graduation apparel and supplies from the Barnes and Noble campus bookstore.
The workshop is hosted by the Gadsden State Advising and Retention Center and Student Support Services.
