Foster’s perfect performance at the plate lifts Sand Rock softball at Piedmont

PIEDMONT – Jadyn Foster went a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate with a home run, two doubles, four runs and two RBIs in leading the Sand Rock Lady Wildcats to a 6-4 softball win at Piedmont on Monday.

Katelyn StClair went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs for Sand Rock (10-4). EllaGrace Hood was also 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Sherina Foster and Aliyah King both had a hit and a RBI.

Hood picked up the complete-game victory. She gave up three earned runs on four hits with four walks and four strikeouts.

Sand Rock hosts Gaylesville on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
