Cherokee Electric CO OP repairing outages ASAP

Cherokee Electric Co-Op is working at max capacity to restore power across its coverage area. WEIS Radio spoke with Randal Wilkie GM who says there are outages all over the system close with over 1500 customers out of power. 2 circuits are out at the Sandrock substation, which is contributing to a large portion of the outages. Calhoun county is being cleaned up. Wills Valley is also experiencing widespread outages.

Cherokee Electric CO OP will be working well throught the night to fix these outages as soon as possible and thanks all effected for their patience as they bounce back from the severe storm damage.
