Gaylesville no-hits Woodville in Tuesday baseball doubleheader

GAYLESVILLE – The Gaylesville Trojans tossed a pair of five-inning no-hitters against visiting Woodville on Tuesday.

JJ Yarbrough struck out 12 and walked two in earning the victory in game one, 25-0. Collin Hendon, Tanner Eads, Kyler and Kuper Bradley combined for the no-hitter in game two, a 15-1 victory for the Trojans (4-1).

In game one, Tanner Eads was 2-for-3 with a double, two walks, three runs and five RBIs. Kuper Bradley went 3-for-3 with two walks, four runs and two RBIs. Kyler Bradley was 2-for-4 with a double, four runs and three RBIs. Hendon also went 2-for-4 with a walk, two runs and three RBIs. Yarbrough was 1-for-4 with a walk, four runs and two RBIs. Brayden Sharp doubled, scored a run and had two RBIs. Hunter Allmond finished with a hit, two walks, three runs and three RBIs.

In game two, Sharp went 2-for-2 with a triple, a walk, a run and a RBI. Kyler Bradley was 2-for-3 with a double, a walk and three runs. Kuper Bradley had a double, a walk, two runs and a RBI. Hendon also doubled with a walk, two runs and two RBIs. Mitchell went 1-for-2 with a run and five RBIs. Yarbrough contributed a hit, two walks, two runs and two RBIs.

Bradlee Smith walked and drove in a run. Eads, Allmond and Landon Lee each walked and scored a run. Dameon Jeter scored a run. Landon Chumbler finished with a hit.

Gaylesville travels to Locust Fork on Friday.
