Around 11:20 Tuesday morning an Atrium Floyd EMS ambulance was traveling southwest on Lokey St in Leesburg when the driver of a Nissan Altima ran the stop sign at the intersection of Lokey and Mackey St. causing the ambulance to collide with the Nissan. The accident caused minor injuries for the driver of the Nissan. The crew from the ambulance treated the driver that hit them for minor skin scrapes to her right hand. Leesburg PD and Leesburg Fire responded to the scene. The incident is still being investigated, WEIS Radio will update this story as more information is available.
