The Georgia State Patrol seeks new troopers. A recruiting event will be held at Post 38 at 3386 Martha Berry Highway in Rome on Tuesday, February 28th from 10 AM to 2 PM.
Troopers will be on hand to explain the hiring process. Interested parties may apply online at www.gatrooper.com. All applicants will be subjected to a background check, a polygraph, an interview process, and medical and psychological evaluation. Troopers’ salary and benefits begin on day one of trooper school.
The next trooper school begins on July 16, 2023. Applications will close on March 12th.
