Convicted Child Molester Headed To Prison

A twenty-year-old man who was convicted of child molestation in Chattooga County is headed to prison after violating the terms of his probation.  Taylor Dakota Blackmon was living in Ider, Alabama when he was arrested on charges he molested  family members between the ages of 4-9 years-old back in 2018.

At the time of Blackmon’s original arrest, Chattooga County Sheriff’s Investigators told WZQZ News that there were five victims, all family members.  Blackmon was convicted of molesting four of the children and given 40-years probation and had to register as a sex offender.  Blackmon was sixteen at the time of his arrest, but was tried as an adult in Chattooga County.

Now, Blackmon is headed to prison after being arrested in Richmond County, Georgia on charges of interfering with government property.
