Rome Robbery Nets a Vehicle and Six Bucks Cash

The Rome Police Department is still investigating an Armed Robbery taking place on Frost Drive Wednesday evening.

According to the Rome Police Department report, an employee at Domino’s Pizza on Shorter Avenue told officers that she was making a delivery – and as she was walking up to the house, she was approached by two men armed with handguns. The delivery person told the men the price of the pizza and they replied that they didn’t care – and then demanded to keys to the woman’s vehicle.

The two men made off with the vehicle and $6 cash; the light-up Domino’s Pizza sign from the vehicle was recovered and returned to the business.

No arrest regarding the incident have yet been made.
