Piedmont Man Attacked With Hammer
An argument between two men Tuesday morning resulted in one being attacked with a hammer. He received significant injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The attacker was transported to the Calhoun County Jail by Piedmont Police officers on charges of attempted murder.
Piedmont Police Chief Nathan Johnson said he would have a complete press release on the incident today.
