UPDATE
Four people were transported for treatment, following a two-vehicle crash occurring at 11:44 Tuesday morning in Cherokee County.
The Centre Police Department, Centre Fire Department, the Cherokee County Rescue Squad and Atrium-Floyd EMS all responded to the scene where a 2012 GMC driven by an 84 year old female resident of Centre and a 2005 Mazda Tribune being driven by a 37 year old female from Centre had crashed on County Road 22 at the East Bypass.
Both drivers and two passengers were taken by ambulance to Atrium-Floyd in Rome.
That wreck remains under investigation by the Centre Police Department.
