UPDATED

A two-vehicle accident occurred around 7:45 Wednesday morning at the intersection of Armory Road and the Chesnut Bypass in Centre.

That collision involved a 2005 Buick LeSabre, being driven by a 58 year old female of a Centre address and a 2023 Kia Seltos, driven by a 21 year old female from Glencoe.  The 21 year old was unhurt with the 58 year old being checked out at the scene prior to being released.  Fortunately, it appears no one was seriously hurt in the mishap.

Traffic was blocked at the corner of Centre Fuel City across from the shopping center as crews cleared away debris and Centre Police investigated.
