Billie Jean Burkhalter age 91 of Cedar Bluff passed away Friday January 27th at her residence.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday January 29th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. George Cobb officiating, burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until 2 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Tyler Cobb, Hunter Cobb, Randy Kelley, Hoppie Morris, Greg Willett and Danny Woodall. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmy Morrison, Leonard Gifford, Chris Kelley, Logan Woodall, Charles Davis, friends and neighbors on Chattooga and Armstrong Drive.
Survivors include grandchildren, Tyler Cobb and Hunter Cobb; niece, Terri (Randy) Kelley; husband of deceased daughter, Jason Cobb.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Burkhalter; daughter, Donna Cobb and sister, Frances Brashier.
Mrs. Burkhalter was a native of Cherokee County and the daughter of the late Willie Watt and Melvia Cartlidge and a member of Cedar Bluff First Baptist Church.
