DOLLAR GENERAL TO REMODEL LEESBURG LOCATION TO DG MARKET

Remodeled location will feature a selection of fresh meat, fruits and vegetables / the store is slated to open by March 2023

GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. – January 26, 2023 – Dollar General is excited to announce it plans to remodel its store at 360 Industrial Boulevard in Leesburg to the Company’s DG Market format in the coming weeks.

The new store format plans to provide Cherokee County residents with an updated layout and new offerings including a selection of fresh meats, fruits and vegetables, as well as the same categories, brands and products customers trust Dollar General to carry; the Company currently expects the remodeled store to open by March 2023.

In June 2022, Leesburg Mayor Brandy Pierce reached out to Dollar General and he inquired about the feasibility of offering his community additional access to fresh meats and produce through the Company’s DG Market format.

“We are excited to remodel our Leesburg store and provide area residents with an expanded shopping experience through our DG Market format in the coming weeks,” said Larry Hall, Dollar General’s district manager of operations. “The new DG Market format aims to provide the Cherokee County community with an updated design, as well as closer access to fresh foods and a convenient location to purchase household essentials at everyday low prices.  We look forward to welcoming customers to our updated location in the coming weeks and hope the community will enjoy the new store.”
