Cherokee County Sheriff’s Investigators Make Arrest in Child Pornography Case

According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, Sheriff’s Investigators received a tip from ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) regarding child pornography – and executed a search warrant at a Gaylesville residence on Tuesday.

During the course of the investigation, it was discovered that Justin Glenn Freeman, 28 of Gaylesville, was in possession of 130 counts of Possession of Child Pornography along with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia.

He was taken into custody on Tuesday afternoon – and transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center.
