A Georgia mother is facing charges after she allegedly left her young child in the car on Christmas Day – while she gambled. Deputies say this isn’t the first time that it’s happened.
Mishaela Rayls, age 32 of Rome, was arrested on December 25th at a Food Mart that is on Highway 48 in Chattooga County; authorities say Rayls left a toddler in the car in 30 degree weather for more than an hour – while she played coin machines with a friend.
She is charged with Reckless Conduct and Giving a False Name to an officer. Back In February 2022 Rayls was arrested for leaving her infant in the car while she gambled at a Chattooga County gas station.
