The Cherokee County School System is sponsoring a Countywide Art Contest with the topic being “Resilience”.
Rules to Enter:
- All Cherokee County students (Pre-K through 12th grade) are eligible.
- Students must draw on an 8 X 11 paper.
- Please list the student’s name, grade, and school on the back of the picture only.
- The topic is “What does it mean to be resilient?”
An envelope titled “Resilience Art Contest” is placed in each school office now. Entries are due to the front office of your school by Tuesday, January 24th or pick up. Art will be scored on creativity, alignment to topic questions, and craftsmanship.

We will have a district parent meeting with APT presenting on Resilience at the Cherokee Chamber on February 2nd from 4-5 PM. Winners of the countywide student art contest will be announced at the meeting.
